Smart City Expo World Congress is an annual event in Barcelona, Spain, with over 20,000 global attendees and 1,000 exhibitors from over 700 cities. It's one of the world's largest gatherings focused on smart city solutions, bringing together city leaders, technology companies, startups, and innovators from around the globe.

The event provides a platform for sharing ideas, showcasing innovations, and building partnerships that can transform cities into smarter, more sustainable, and more inclusive places to live.

The African Startup Showcase

One of the conference's highlights was the startup showcase, where 15 tech startups from Africa were selected to present their innovative solutions. I was honored to represent Naa Sika, which offers financial inclusion and payment solutions for small businesses and informal sector workers in Africa.

Being selected among 15 African startups was a significant recognition of Naa Sika's impact and potential. It provided an opportunity to share our vision with a global audience and connect with potential partners, investors, and collaborators.
